Grew up in Germany. Parents died in a car crash when she was 6 months old - killed by drunk/stoned driver who survived. No relatives around to take her in and sent to foster home. Grew up in a wealthy German estate.
After learning of her parent's death (6), she vowed that once she learned how to drive (11), she would not enter a car unless she's driving. Highly skilled driver.
Speaks German, French, Russian, English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean.
Learned to mountaineer in the Swiss Alps.
Became the youngest ever to climb Mt. Everest (http://www.mnteverest.net/history.html) at 12 years old.
Avid alpine skier and snowboarder. Excellent back country skier.
Learned to hunt in Siberia.
Started a girls only Fight Club when she was 16.
Allowed boys to fight at 17.
Never been in love but has had numerous relationships.
The earth is about to enter an ice age (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ice_age) due to the disastrous effects of global warming. She's prepared.
Does not drink excessively or smoke manufactured cigarettes.

Um, isn't this Lara croft?
Lara Croft:
Grew up in posh finishing school for girls and is a daughter of an english lord. Lived in Switzerland and also climbed the Himalayas at a young age. Searching for the abominable snowman is not far off from Lara's profession of archeology and who has encountered Big Foot on her travels.
Her favorite gun is kinda trite don't you think? Again, I suggest you delve more into her personal psyche and humanity than in these trite surface treatments that are mostly meaningless. I mean, come on, 6 languages? Let's find out who she really is before we get into the details.
You point out some of her eccentricities but they all seem rather random.
Maybe she battled a drug problem as a youth, maybe she harbors a family secret or a life long quest for vengence, or maybe all the above. Something that drives her existence, her reason for being.
In the end it's your character, so take it as friendly criticism.
I didn't know all that history about Lara Croft...
Anyway, as you can see, there is no real back story at the moment. It's more of a hodge podge of unrelated stuff.
I can't quite put a fix on her because I haven't found a purpose for her yet, other than her search for the yeti.
This character isn't going to be ground-breaking yet but don't worry. That's the whole point of this exercise. It's a process so don't expect greatness overnight.
Keep the criticism coming. It helps. I know we're going to come at this from different directions so I expect there to be differences.
Let's just keep working at it.
