This is taking far more time than I had originally anticipated, but I want this image to be a portfolio piece, hence the attention to detail.
Worked on the kneepads. That little protuberance out the side is a SONY T5 transmitter/receiver. Could be used as a comm/data link, GPS receiver, etc. I thought it was kinda interesting by the knee, doesn't get in the way of anything, easily accessible and frees up the pockets etc. for things like... guns... ammo...

Looks cool syd! Take as much time as you want. I haven't done much in the past week but will try do do some work next week. I'm off all next week and out of town but should be able to model stuff on the laptop. Will post then if there's internet access.
Yah, it's turned into more of an illustration than a working concept drawing. Even that's taking way too long. Considering the hours I put into it, I should have been done weeks ago. Anyways, post what you can. When you do, can you post higher rez pics, thanks. Actually, I'm thinking of modelling the head in Maya. I've been thinking of just sitting in a coffee shop on weekends with the laptop just to learn 3D and doing 2D on the tablet at work.
